The French have been dominant in the Current Olympic cycle, but their recent domination in the 2023 World Cup circuit has solidified their top spot with Colombia as the two nations bringing 3 racers to Paris. The battle lies in the 3-5 range, where the US and Great Britain have gone back and forth all season. With C1, HC, and the World Championships in Rock Hill, SC, on the horizon, the US will be in 5th gear, grabbing as many Olympic points as possible to bring 2 riders on the men's side while the ladies will be leaning on Alise Willoughby and Felicia Stancil to continue their podium making ways as the US is currently slotted to take 3 women to the 2024 Games.
