Who can Buck the Cowboy?

He’s the defending champ for a reason. Cam Wood rolled into the 2025 USA BMX Pro Series with his cowboy hat, spurs, and a lasso made of pure consistency. The man climbed onto the points lead bronco in Rock Hill and is on his way to go the distance.

Cam Wood’s Scores: 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd — 730pts (That’s not a race resume, that’s a flex.)

With 14 of 19 scores already in the books, the winners’ list is growing, but no one has really reeled Cam in yet. Which means… the time to win is NOW.

And trust me — these last three races? They’re going to be filled to the brim with speed.

Enter the Chasers: Kennedy, Larsen, and Polk

While Wood’s sipping espresso on the porch of his point lead, three guys are still bumping and battling like their coffee fund depends on it.

• Izaac Kennedy (a.k.a. “Mr. Almost Always There”) 

• Scores: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 8th — 550pts 

• He’s been hanging around the top of fans' predictions list, but has struggled to put it all together in the series.

• Kam Larsen (a.k.a. “Twitch Tires Mastermind) 

• Scores: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 5th, 5th, 7th, 7th — 550pts

• Tasting each flavor of the podium steps, a taste is all he's gotten in 2025. And his tummy is rumbling

• Drew Polk (a.k.a. “The PR Chaser”) 

• Scores: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 6th, 10th — 530pts

• Polk struggled early but the hype train is full steam ahead after a string of podiums and his first win in Louisville.

The Big Question

So who’s gonna do it? Who’s getting their season back on track?

Will Cam Wood continue to fill out his scores all the way to the Grands?

Can Kennedy race past the Bronze and Silver storefronts?

Will Kam Larsen finally turn all those “almosts” into “absolutelys”? 

Or does Drew Polk stack a few more wins like his favorite order at IHOP?
