More Money Less Laps Even Hotter Action

PULL BMX

Exciting changes already came with the announcement of the USA BMX FloSports partnership, now we get more with a new race day schedule, more money in the year-end pot, and a new A Pro style class.

Pro Race Operations - No B-Main / No Quarters

The 2025 Pro Season is set to deliver intensified competition. To ensure a consistent and action-packed season, race days will now consist of a maximum of five laps. Points will be accumulated across three rounds, leading to semi-mains and the main event, with no B-Main. This change aims to provide a reliable schedule for both racers and fans. While rider count for race creation is capped at 20+, the Pro Purse will continue to scale based on rider count, with the exception of Men & Women Pro Supercross racing, which will retain its fixed $10,000 purse.

Class Build - Vet Pro, Men & Women ABA Futures, Women Pro, Men Pro

5-8 riders - Total Points

9-16 - Three Rounds, 8 riders to Main Event

17-19 - Three rounds, 12 riders to Semi Mains, 8 riders to Main Event

USA BMX Pro Series Overall Purse: Fueled by FloSports

The USA BMX Pro Series is increasing its total year-end prize money by over $21,000, thanks to a partnership with FloSports. This means that not only will the overall National Champion receive a larger payout, but the prize distribution will also extend further down the rankings. Specifically, both the Men's and Women's Pro categories will now award the top 8, while the Vet Pro category will expand its payouts to include the top 5 competitors in the year end points

Men & Women ABA Futures

Following the success of the SuperX Open and recognizing the need for a structured developmental Pro class in the United States, USA BMX introduces the ABA Futures program. This new class is specifically created to provide up-and-coming riders with a platform to gain experience, refine their skills, and build confidence before transitioning into the Men’s and Women’s Pro classes.

The ABA Futures class is now a staple at all USA BMX Pro Series races, offering top amateur riders an opportunity to compete at a higher level. Riders have the flexibility to race exclusively in the ABA Futures class or participate in both Futures and their respective Amateur classes. This ensures a competitive pathway for emerging athletes to progress within the sport.

Throughout the season, ABA Futures points will be accumulated, starting from the Carolina Nationals and continuing through to the Race of Champions. At the end of the season, the top 16 riders in each class will qualify for the Pro Championship Final, where they will have the chance to showcase their abilities on a Friday Night Pro Show stage.

Class Rules

Must have an active USA BMX/BMX Canada Membership

15-29 years old (UCI Age)

5 rider minimum for both Men and Women ABA Futures

Class will follow the Pro/Am Payout scale
