Christopher & Zula Join the SX Squad

Supercross BMX is making a clear statement about the future of its brand, and the future of BMX as a whole—with the addition of two of the sport’s most dynamic athletes: Marcus Christopher and Tommy Zula.

The dual signings highlight a major evolution for Supercross BMX. Long known for its deep roots in BMX racing, the brand is now leaning fully into the broader spectrum of modern BMX, where racing, freestyle, and pump track increasingly intersect on the global stage.

Christopher’s arrival marks a significant step into the freestyle world. As one of the most progressive riders on the planet, he brings elite-level credentials, including Gold at the 2024 X Games Ventura and a Silver medal at the 2025 UCI BMX Freestyle World Championships. A 2024 Olympian in BMX Park, Christopher has built a reputation for his amplitude, technical precision, and ability to perform under pressure. Now, he’ll carry that momentum into a new chapter, representing Supercross BMX at premier events like X Games and UCI competitions while also contributing to future product development. He’ll be riding the Passion frame, paired with a full suite of Supercross BMX components tailored to his style.

On the other side of the spectrum, Zula embodies the modern, cross-discipline rider. With roots in BMX racing, he has grown into one of the most versatile athletes in the sport—effortlessly blending speed, style, and creativity. His UCI Pump Track World Championship title and rainbow jersey cemented his place among the elite, but it’s his ability to connect with fans and push progression that makes him stand out.

Zula will ride the Supercross Shine and Vision platforms while collaborating with Supercross SecretLabs on upcoming development projects. His experience across multiple disciplines makes him a key piece in the brand’s forward-thinking approach.

Together, the additions of Christopher and Zula signal more than just roster moves, they represent a shift. As BMX continues to expand globally through Olympic inclusion and marquee events, Supercross BMX is positioning itself beyond the starting gate, investing in athletes who reflect the full culture of the sport.

From the explosive runs of freestyle parks to the rhythm and precision of pump tracks, Supercross BMX is building a team and a vision, that meets BMX where it is today, and where it’s headed next.
