2026 USABMX Pro Series by the Numbers

8 – The number of scores needed, plus the Grands to win the championship. Last year’s champions, Molly Simpson Maxed out her wins with 8 going into the Grands, and Cam Wood had 4 wins going in. If you want to win the title, you will need 8 podiums, and at least a few of them will have to be wins.

19 -  Available scores. 9 weekends, 2 days each, plus the ROC to get your scores. A good way to think about it is you need one “keeper” score every weekend to stay on pace.

10 – The number of winners in the men’s pro class in 2025. This is the highest number in the modern era. We are truly in a time of parity, which is great for fans! Does the parity continue in 2026? Or do a couple of riders step up and establish themselves as the dominant riders?

6 – The number of winners in the women’s pro class. Again with the theme of parity. Lucky us!

2 – The number of men who have achieved the “three peat” Bubba Harris in 04/05/06 and Joris Daudet in 21/22/23. Cam Wood will be going for the three-peat in 2026. Many have tried and gotten stuck on 2 consecutive. Being on top for 3 years is no easy feat.

0 – The number of women who have come back after childbirth to win. Alise Willoughby will be the first to attempt that this year. If anyone can, she can.

20 – The number of years Jeff Upshaw and Nic Long have been battling. In 2006, it was amateur, in 2016 it was pro, in 2026 it will be for the Vet Pro title. Olympian Nic Long looks to become the third Olympian to win the Vet Pro title. Christian Becerine and Johnothan Suarez were the first two to do it.

4 – of the 8 finalists for the men's Olympic final in 2024 were in the top 8 of the USABMX pro series in 2025. Wood, Kennedy, Marquart, Caromona. All finished in the top 8.

1 – New stop on the tour. Antelope Valley BMX in Utah will host its first-ever Pro race. Many of the stops are now considered “legacy” stops as they have been on tour for years. Rock Hill has been a mainstay since hosting its first race in 2014, and Black Mountain BMX has hosted Pro races since the 90s!

2 – The winning streak Kam Larsen ended 2025 on, winning the ROC and the Grands. Can he continue that form into 2026?

0 – The number of titles Izaac Kennedy has won. That Chase Bicycles top rider spot is tough to fill, after winning 9 straight USABMX pro titles. You can bet that 2 X USABMX champion team owner Christophe Leveque is expecting a big year out of Izaac.

15 – The number of wins Molly Simpson had last year. Can anyone step up and challenge her this year?

A lot – The number of riders that were “Polked” last year. If Drew can improve his starts, he will be a true contender. We know he has trackspeed and smarts to spare.

2 – Wins in Bakersfield for Josh Jolly, going from 0 to 2 in one weekend. A lot of others and I predict that number will climb in 2025.

2 – ABA futures champions in 2025, both stepping up to the pro classes for 2026. Matt Werts and Derin Merten will make the leap this year alongside a list of other talented riders. The future is bright!

3 – Riders who will etch their names in the history books and end the year as champions. Who will it be?
