BMX legend Mike Spinner is standing by his word of sending the rider who lands the trick that stands out to him the most at each stop of the 2023 Freestyle Series $500.
At stop two, the honors are going to 12-year-old phenom Connor Stitt for his backflip barspin over the street spine.
"I just can't believe a rider at that age is doing this level of trick. I can't imagine what the sport is going to look like in five years!" said Spinner in regards to his choice.
Connor is currently tied for first place in the overall standing of the 11-14 Men class.
Spinner hopes to reward progression and give back to the BMX world with this award. He will be watching stop three in Tulsa closely to pick the next winner!
